Curriculum
Arumugam Academy follows the Matriculation Higher Secondary School Curriculum of Tamil Nadu, which provides a strong academic foundation combined with holistic development.
Pre-Primary (Pre-KG, LKG, UKG)
Focus on play-way methods, phonics, rhymes, picture recognition, storytelling, and activity-based learning to build early literacy and numeracy skills.
Primary (Classes I – V)
Emphasis on language development, mathematics, environmental science, and creative learning. Moral education and life skills are introduced at this stage.
Middle School (Classes VI – VIII)
Balanced coverage of languages, mathematics, science, and social studies. Activities and projects are integrated to develop analytical and problem-solving skills.
Secondary (Classes IX – X)
Curriculum designed to prepare students for the Board Examinations, with focus on core subjects, discipline, and time management. Regular tests and revision sessions ensure strong academic grounding.
Higher Secondary (Classes XI – XII)
A wide choice of subject combinations is offered to help students pursue higher education in science, commerce, and technology streams. Special coaching and guidance are provided for competitive exams like NEET, JEE, and CA Foundation.
