Arumugam Academy maintains high standards of discipline, academic focus, and ethical conduct. Every student, parent, and staff member is expected to uphold the values of the institution by following these regulations:
Students must attend school regularly and maintain punctuality.
A minimum of 75% attendance is compulsory to be eligible for promotion and participation in examinations.
Homework, classwork, and projects must be completed neatly and submitted on time.
Respect towards teachers, peers, and school staff is mandatory at all times.
Misbehavior, indifference to studies, or discourtesy will invite strict disciplinary action.
Students must avoid loud talking, whistling, or disturbing others in class or on campus.
Prescribed uniform with belt, shoes, ID card, and badge must be worn daily.
Students should maintain proper grooming and neat appearance. Costly jewelry and fashion accessories are strictly prohibited.
Students must handle school property with care. Any damage must be compensated.
Bicycles must be parked in the designated area and locked. Riding inside campus is not allowed. Motorbikes/geared vehicles are strictly prohibited.
School is not responsible for theft or damage to personal belongings.
Mobile phones, electronic gadgets, and toys are not allowed. Confiscated items will not be returned.
Unnecessary items not related to academics should not be brought to school.
Parents must not disturb classes or meet teachers during school hours. Meetings can be arranged after 4:00 p.m. with prior intimation.
Attendance on National Days (Independence Day, Republic Day) is compulsory for all students. Absence without approval will be taken seriously.
Parents are expected to attend Campus Days/Parent–Teacher Meetings regularly to review their child’s progress.
Every student must maintain the school diary. Parents should check and sign it daily.
Loss of diary must be immediately reported, and a replacement purchased from the school office.
